Tea Tank

…and back again! Thing got rough and busy – again. Lost my power adapters for my camera. Favorite cat died a terrible death from kidney failure. Stuff like that. Not enough tea in the world for that one. But enough about my holidays. I hope all of you are having a great holiday season, drinking all sorts of tea and chilling with family and friends. It’s Tea Day! Or it must be since I received so much tea in the mail. Three different packages on the same day – two samples, one from Steepster Select. This is good because it was a terrible morning preceded by a terrible evening. If you ever misplace a significant amount of money, yet you’re 99.99% sure it’s in your home, you’ll understand. There’s this feeling that if only you looked a little longer, you’d find it. When you haven’t found it four hours later you start to think that maybe the 00.01% chance is actually a likelihood and perhaps you left it elsewhere. Then you retrace your steps and rationalize that you remember bringing it in the house, therefore it is in the house and you should look some more.

If nothing else, my office and bedroom are much, much cleaner now. (more…)

It’s cookin’ night! The house was wicked cold so instead of assuming a fetal position under a pile of blankets and going into hibernation, I decided to jet to the store and make soup. Usually warms things up. Really, nothing warms the house like baking but I’m at my gluten limit for the week. Gluten free cooking is NOT fun. So fragging goopy and sticky. In any case, while I’m in the kitchen I thought I might as well try Tea Forte’s new Skin-Smart sampler. It shouldn’t have so much caffeine that it’ll keep me up until the morning.
