The Earl Of Grey Smells Like a Princess

Earl of Grey Smelling Pretty

Tazo’s Earl Grey (tea bag format) was the one tea that got me through a week of instructing a martial arts kids camp. My body is very anti-mornings. Whatever it is about my chemistry, mornings are just not for me. Getting up to do a kids camp at 9am was a strain. Getting somewhere by 9am is bad enough, never mind that it’s to deal with high energy kids. Ugh. Don’t get me wrong. It was a good experience. It was even fun at times, you know, when the caffeine kicked in. But kids at 9am. Dude.

I was in “grab whatever caffeine I could find” mode, and I found a box of Tazo’s Earl Grey in my pantry. Not my favorite, but it met all the qualifications of having caffeine and being palatable.

Tea Tank

Tea Tank: Make Tea!

For serial this time. Let’s start, just like in school since it’s the first week for all of those poor children. 😀

How was your summer?

Mine was good. Sort of. Not really. Could’ve been worse though. It got better.  Like it just wouldn’t stop. Just when you think you’ve got your life figured out, some other glop happens and then you have to clean that up. Gross. All better now though! Got rid of another MONUMENTAL source of stress, so we’re okie dokie. Sneaky sneaky stress. I may not have been blogging, but I’ve been drinking lots of tea though, so over the next couple weeks I’ll fill you in, summer report style. Here’s what’s coming up:

  • Tazo’s Earl Grey
  • Yogi Tea’s Peach Detox
  • Teatulia’s Ginger
  • Teatulia’s Peppermint
  • Stash’s Rou Gui
  • Tao of Tea’s Dragonwell
  • Yogi Tea’s Bedtime
  • Teatulia’s Neem Nectar

And I think that’s most of what’s been going on. Lots of tea bagses yes… That’s what happens when your schedule is retarded. Good tea bags are important to have when life gets crazy. The only catch then is just remembering to grab your thermos before you run out the door!
